Conservative voice Ann Coulter took to Twitter Thursday blasting Donald Trump after he delivered a bombshell Wednesday night when he told Fox News that he would work with "upstanding" illegal immigrants on a plan to stay in the country vs. deport them.
Coulter tweeted:
Trump told Sean Hannity during the Fox interview that in order to stay, the "good people" would have to pay back taxes.
"No citizenship. Let me go a step further - they'll pay back taxes, they have to pay taxes, there's no amnesty, as such, there's no amnesty, but we work with them," Trump told Hannity.
The "In Trump We Trust" author was not impressed:
Coulter went on MSNBC earlier this week, promoting her book but also warning Trump against softening his stance on immigration.
"This could be the shortest book tour ever if he's really softening his position on immigration," Coulter told MSNBC.
