Most of Donald Trump's supporters agree with him that the election is "rigged," but the GOP nominee's running mate said Friday he doesn't anticipate that the national election results will be changed because of fraud.
"There certainly have been incidences throughout our lifetime and history of voter fraud," GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America."
When it comes to such fraud, changing the national election results, though, Pence said he doesn't "anticipate that that's the case, but it's a good time for people, whether you're Republican or Democrat or independent, to find a respectful way to participate in the election process, to vote and also to be a part of the polling."
Most people on the campaign trail are talking about the spiraling cost of Obamacare, however, Pence said, following the Obama administration's acknowledgement that premiums will rise significantly in 2017.
"I think that's been startling and jarring to the American people," said Pence, promising that under a Donald Trump presidency, Obamacare will be repealed. "They know we can do better. They know we can do better than Hillary Clinton's plan to introduce more single-payer and more government solutions.
"We'll bring free-market solutions, more consumer choice. We'll drive down the cost of health insurance without growing the size of government."
Pence also commented about intelligence agencies' conclusions that Russia is behind hacks into thousands of emails that were provided to WikiLeaks and which are being used by the Trump campaign to hammer Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
He stopped short of saying he agrees with the findings, but said there's "significant intelligence" to support that conclusion, and that if he and Trump are elected, they'll take "very strong consequences" if any state actor is involved in the incidents.
"I think there is significant intelligence to support that but we want to follow the facts on that," Pence said, and he wants to focus on “what's in the emails."
Meanwhile, he told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" that the emails are revealing the activities of the Clinton Foundation, and her private emails were used to keep "all of the traffic and dialogue about all of that out of the public reach.
"The American people are seeing more and more, the kind of pay-to-play politics where donors were given special contracts to rebuild Haiti," said Pence.
"We're seeing what's being called Clinton Incorporated with donors to the foundation. Many of [those who] were lobbying the State Department were hiring former President Bill Clinton.
"This is the kind of pay-to-play politics that the American people are tired of. It's the kind of politics that will end the day Donald Trump becomes president of the United States."

Pence, also appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program, said he takes offense to a Bloomberg Businessweek article reporting a senior official claiming the Trump campaign has three major voter suppression operations underway related to black, female, and left-leaning voters.
"That's offensive to me, that kind of language," said Pence. "It's not our operation. Donald Trump and I want every American who has the opportunity to vote, to vote in this election. That's our message. To tell the American people that this country really belongs to them."
He also thinks, though, that Republicans will "come home" to vote for Trump.
"Everywhere I go, I'm hearing again and again from people that are saying it wasn't my first choice, but I'm there," said Pence. "I think it's the reason why you see this race is wheel to wheel."
