CNN host Wolf Blitzer appeared shocked that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton lost the election early Wednesday morning.
The network was the last to report that Republican nominee Donald Trump had won the election, waiting until 2:48 a.m. to call the race, just before he delivered his victory speech.
Upon hearing that Clinton had called Trump to concede the election, Blitzer appeared "visibly stunned" according to The Daily Mail, and said, "If Hillary Clinton has conceded, that is dramatic."
"That is a dramatic development, Dana, and to hear the words 'president-elect,' we haven't yet projected that — but you're saying Clinton made a formal call to Donald Trump to concede?" Blitzer asked co-host Dana Bash, who confirmed that Clinton did make the call.
On Twitter, Blitzer was widely mocked for his apparent unwillingness to admit Trump's success.
