Angle Opens Up 4-Point Lead Over Reid

Republican Sharron Angle has lengthened her lead to four percentage points over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the battle for the Senate seat in Nevada, according to a new poll by Angle, Reid, Elections 2010, NevadaMason-Dixon Polling & Research. Angle was chosen by 49 percent of the likely voters polled, while Reid got 45 percent.

The poll — conducted for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and 8NewsNow — is the first Mason-Dixon survey since the two candidates squared off in their only debate on Oct. 14.

A Mason-Dixon poll two weeks ago showed Angle with a two-point lead, 47 percent to 45 percent.
