American people just can’t get enough of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. The potential presidential candidate’s family reality/travel log show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” attracted almost 5 million viewers on TLC Sunday night, the biggest premiere in the channel’s history,
The New York Times reports.

Palin and Mark Burnett, the star reality TV producer, offered what became “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” to the broadcast networks and to numerous cable channels, eventually consummating a deal with TLC. TLC supported the show with one of its biggest marketing campaigns ever. One online ad spoofed a “Saturday Night Live” satire of Palin, stating, “I can see ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ from my living room.”
But Palin talked little about the show in public, allowing Burnett and TLC officials to create publicity for the endeavor.
