Rosie O'Donnell, whom Donald Trump once dismissed as "a real loser" in their famous duel of insults, is at it again, this time berating the United States for killing Osama bin Laden without due process.
Obviously ignoring the fact that the al-Qaida chieftain was responsible for the slaughter of nearly 3,000 innocents on Sept. 11, 2001, O'Donnell said during a radio tirade that she wishes bin Laden hadn't been killed when Navy SEALs raided his lair in Pakistan on May 1.
“You can be upset about the fact that [bin Laden] didn’t have due process, that he didn’t get tried,” she said.
“Because other people are capable of criminal acts on our soil doesn’t equate to ‘Therefore, we are allowed to do criminal acts on their soil,’” O'Donnell said.
O'Donnell's comments echoed those of leftist movie producer Michael Moore, who railed that the death of the world's top terrorist indicated that “We’ve lost something of our soul here in this country."

O'Donnell's take: “We are supposed to be the leader in terms of our morality, and our democracy, and our fairness, right? So saying the reason that it is alright for us to do that does not equate because you don’t want to become what you loathe.”
Regardless of O'Donnell's and Moore's Left Coast views, polls since the SEALs killed bin Laden show widespread support for the mission among the general U.S. public.
