Republican Sharron Angle unleashed a new campaign ad aimed directly at President Barack Obama and
her election opponent, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, reports the Washington Post. The ad, which aired in advance of Obama's weekend visit to Nevada, coincided with news that the state's unemployment now stands at 14.4 percent.
In the ad, video of Obama making campaign promises from 2008 are shown. That's followed by this line of text: "Then Harry Reid and the president got to work."

Dire statistics about the state's financial situation are shown, including information on soaring bankruptcies and home foreclosures, and the grim news that about 200,000 residents are jobless.
After Obama's visit to campaign for Reid, Angle released a statement that said the president's visit spurred supporters to donate $200,000 online.
