Former President Bill Clinton blames FBI Director James Comey for wife Hillary's loss in the presidential election.

According to Politico, the former president talked to a reporter from The Record-Review, a weekly newspaper serving Bedford and Pound Ridge, N.Y., and said Comey "cost her the election."

Clinton took questions while shopping at a small bookstore in the area, Politico reported.

The former president weighed in on whether cyberattacks — blamed on Russia — impacted his wife's presidential bid.

"You would need to have a single-digit IQ not to recognize what was going on," he said.

But Clinton maintained Comey's announcement in the last weeks of the election the FBI was looking at fresh evidence related to her use of a private email server during her days as secretary of state was particularly damaging to Hillary, Politico reported.

Just days before the presidential vote, Comey finally announced the FBI had not changed its July decision not to bring charges regarding the Clinton private server.

According to The Hill, Bill Clinton took a jab at Trump, saying the President-elect "doesn't know much," but "one thing he does know is how to get angry white men to vote for him."
