CBS News inexplicably edited remarks about the frequency of Hillary Clinton's dehydration-related fainting spells, taking out Bill Clinton's description of those episodes as occurring "frequently," TMZ.com reported.
The website posted two different versions of the remarks aired on the Monday evening news, and then on Tuesday's "CBS This Morning."
In the interview with Charlie Rose, the former president spoke about his wife's health, and CBS News released quotes from the sit-down in which Clinton said: ". . . because frequently – well not frequently, rarely – but on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing happened to her when she got severely dehydrated."
The "frequently" part never made it into the Monday evening news – but was left in when the longer version aired Tuesday, TMZ.com noted.
The website posted both versions.
