Report: Biden's In, Will Announce White House Run This Week

Joe Biden's announcement on his presidential aspirations is imminent, according to news reports and it looks like he's running.

Fox News' Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry reported via Twitter that Biden will announce Saturday he is running. Henry reported three sources said the vice president will announce his decision on Saturday at the Jefferson Jackson dinner in Iowa.
NBC reported on Monday Biden’s plans for a run for the White House will be revealed by Wednesday.

The network says sources close to the vice president have revealed Biden will make the announcement “within 48 hours.”

“If Biden does announce … his decision would come before current front runner, Hillary Clinton, appears before the House committee charged with investigating the Benghazi attacks more than three years ago,” the network said.

The big question remains: will the answer be yes … or no.

NBC reporter John Harwood said it is hard to speculate about Biden, who has entered the race unsuccessfully twice before.

"His thinking about this got delayed by the death of his son [Beau] and then all of the sudden, Hillary Clinton was having difficulty. But he's made very clear, he's conflicted about it emotionally," Harwood said in a report for MSNBC.

If he decides to enter the race, this will be Biden’s third attempt.

"Everyone's a bit weary about the speculation,” Harwood said.
