The British public has begun to doubt that human activity is the cause of global warming, according to a
Sky News poll.
The poll shows almost 20 percent of those surveyed think natural processes are the cause of climate change. Just two years ago, 13 in 14 Brits believed climate change was caused by humans, Sky New notes.
The news comes just as world leaders, including British Prime Minister David Cameron and U.S. President Barack Obama, are set to convene in Paris for a world climate summit to address the issue.
Cameron may have a hard time convincing his own countrymen to join the effort to cut greenhouse gas emissions since 54 percent oppose taxes on gasoline, electricity and imported food. Slightly more than one third support such taxes.
