The House Republican Conference has created a special website that will be going live Tuesday night to respond in real time to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address.
The site,
www.GOP.gov/SOTU, will feature charts and graphs and other information tied directly to various elements of the president's speech, whether on gun control, the sequester or the overall economy,
according to Politico.
Republican Lawmakers and their aides also will be providing immediate responses to the president's remarks via Twitter and blogs that invite public comment.

“We’re taking the president’s speech text and pairing it with fact-check and responses by Republicans,” Tim Cameron, who runs social media for the GOP conference, told Politico.
“Those can come in the form of your traditional fact check and also embedded tweets, and infographics and so forth. It’s going to be a living and breathing document online for us for the next week or so as we continue to flesh it out and our members continue to respond, whether that’s in the media or whether they develop research material to refute one of Obama’s points.”
Politico said the site would feature tweets from members of Congress, as well as top GOP aides, including Michael Steel, press secretary to House Speaker John Boehner, and Erica Elliott, press secretary to Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy.
The website also will provide Spanish language responses from a dedicated Twitter account.
It will also carry the official Republican Party response to the president's speech, which will be delivered by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and a tea party response from Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
