The American Conservative Union has announced that Donald Trump will address the 40th annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland. CPAC, America’s largest gathering of conservative leaders and activists, will be hosted March 14-16.
“Donald Trump is an American patriot and success story with a massive following among small government conservatives,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “I look forward to welcoming him back to the CPAC stage next week. Mr. Trump’s previous CPAC appearance was hugely popular among our attendees and we expect it will be even more popular this year.”
Trump joins a host of other speakers, according to CPAC. They include:
Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H.; Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va.; Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.; Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas; Va. Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli; Heritage Foundation President-Elect Jim DeMint; Heritage Foundation President Ed Feulner; and ACU board member Carly Fiorina.
