Donald Trump Thursday attacked political pundit George Will on Twitter and demanded that he be thrown off Fox News for being "boring and totally biased" after the nationally syndicated columnist published an opinion piece supporting New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in the GOP primary.
Trump's initial tweet was posted and shortly deleted at around 9:25 a.m., and then was sent out again at 10:37 a.m., reports
The Hill.
In his column,
Will urged voters to look to Christie after the Paris attacks, writing that "sufficient days remain for Republicans to reshuffle the deck, to relegate Trump's rampaging to the nation's mental attic, and to recognize in Christie a serious political talent."
Trump sent out two more tweets slamming Will, calling him "dopey:"
And "boring:"
Thursday's column wasn't the first time Will attacked Trump in print. In August, he called the front-runner a
"counterfeit Republican," and in September a
"malleable mess."
Will, also a Fox News contributor, has also been
feuding with Fox star Bill O'Reilly this week, after Will wrote a column questioning claims O'Reilly wrote in his bestseller
"Killing Reagan."
