DNC's Wasserman Schultz Can't Name a Senate Race Where Obama is Campaigning

By    |   Thursday, 23 October 2014 08:24 PM EDT

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz dodged the question repeatedly when asked Thursday where President Barack Obama was campaigning for Senate Democrats.

Appearing on Bloomberg TV’s  "With All Due Respect," Wasserman Schultz was asked why former President Bill Clinton is campaigning in tight Senate races but not Obama.

Story continues below video.

"The president is campaigning in competitive races during this election cycle," the chairwoman insisted. But she was repeatedly pressed by co-hosts Mark Halperin and John Heilemann to name one Senate race —  where Democrats are distancing themselves form the president — for which he's campaigned.

"What competitive Senate races is the president campaigning in?" Heilemann asked.

"Like I said, the president has been campaigning in competitive races," Wasserman Schultz maintained, adding, "There are races that the president is campaigning in around the country, and he’s also governing."
