Berliner's show, which airs Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET, is a hard-hitting, fast-paced hour of television that takes viewers on a search for the real story behind the headlines.
In a career spanning more than three decades, Berliner has been part of the management and broadcast teams launching and producing for national and regional cable networks.
His on-camera credentials include CBS, FOX, ESPN, NBC and Comcast as anchor, host and reporter. His radio credentials include nationally syndicated talk host in news and sports, and commentator on numerous local stations and networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, FOX, Westwood One, and the Associated Press.
As host of "The Hard Line," Berliner vows a viewer experience unlike any other in broadcast news. "Our task is to leave no stone unturned in any story," he said. "We take no side and demand our guests, experts and commentators bring not just their 'A' game, but bring the facts and hard opinions, then back them up."
Berliner's recent guests include U.S. Sen. John McCain, acclaimed economist Peter Morici, former FEMA director Michael Brown, outspoken former Congressman Barney Frank and heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield.
