Leah Durant, founder of the Black American Leadership Alliance, says that Americans are frustrated with how President Barack Obama is treating the crisis at the border when there are plenty of Americans who are suffering.
"What we're seeing is an absolute disconnect on the part of political elites, the financial elites, who have decided that they have an agenda, which is to bring as many people into this country as possible," Durant told Ed Berliner on "MidPoint" on
Newsmax TV on Monday.

"Right now we're seeing so many people that are hurt and struggling to feed their families and a lot of people are outraged," she explained.
"They're looking at the way that the Obama administration is handling this debacle and they're frustrated that their needs are not being cared for," the founder of the Black American Leadership Alliance said.
"The administration talks about a humanitarian crisis down at the border," Durant contends. "We absolutely have a humanitarian crisis right here in cities like South Compton, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and all over this country."
