Jetsetters who crow about stopping climate change need the fossil fuels they want to ban to maintain their high-flying lifestyles, says Tom Harris, executive director of the International Climate Science Coalition.
"Leonardo DiCaprio would not enjoy the kind of lifestyle he has if it wasn't for coal and other hydrocarbon fuels," Harris said Wednesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.

"What made America great is, in particular, coal. [America] is the Saudi Arabia of coal, that's why your electricity prices are much less than most of the world.
"But [President Barack] Obama and DiCaprio are trying to turn that off, and it's really a tragedy."
DiCaprio, star of "Titanic" and "The Wolf of Wall Street," was just appointed a United Nations representative on climate change.
Harris — whose group consists of "non-partisan, independent scientists" wary of global warming — said Obama, DiCaprio, [former Vice President] Al Gore and [Secretary of State] John Kerry use "language tricks" to make people believe carbon dioxide is pollution.
"They even go sometimes as far as to call it carbon dioxide poison," Harris said.
"This is crazy. The United States are crippling themselves by restricting emissions of something that is plant food," he said.
