Young illegal immigrants who have been allowed to remain in the U.S. under the principals of President Barack Obama's "Dream Act" have nothing to fear from the Trump administration if they have clean records, Juan Pablo Andrade, an adviser to Donald Trump's National Diversity Coalition, told Newsmax TV.
“To those that are here obviously illegally but that are here going to school, working, and want the same opportunities that everyone has been given, they don't have to worry with a Trump administration," Andrade told host J.D. Hayworth on Thursday's "America Talks Live."
"But those who are here in and out of jail every month, dealing drugs on the street, not contributing to their community — those are the ones that the administration is going to focus on deporting."

In recent weeks, some Democratic lawmakers and immigrant activists have called on Obama to pardon some of the illegal immigrants that face deportation before Trump is inaugurated Jan. 20.
Andrade said: "Honestly, I really don't think President Obama is going to do that, but if he did, I would not be surprised."
While the "Dream Act" — an acronym for Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors — failed to pass the Senate, in 2012, Obama said his administration would stop deporting young undocumented immigrants who matched certain criteria under the failed legislation.
