The widow of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum — shot dead by FBI agents during the Oregon siege — tells
Newsmax TV she welcomes a federal probe of the agents involved after it was revealed they failed to report all of the shots fired during the confrontation.
"They're dishonest by nature," Jeanette Finicum said Wednesday on "Dennis Michael Lynch: Unfiltered."
"They want to make this as an example to the rest of us Americans that if you speak up against them they will put you back in your place. We need to stand up in spite of my husband losing his life. We need to stand up."

Finicum was killed outside an Oregon wildlife refuge as he, Shawna Cox, Ryan Payne, and Victoria Sharp were in a truck headed to meet with the Grant County Sheriff's Office to discuss their armed siege of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
Witnesses say as they braked at a traffic light and authorities who had been trailing them closed in, all hell broke loose as Finicum hit the gas and his late-model Dodge Ram skidded and hit a snowbank.
In a video of the incident, Finicum is seen taunting law enforcement from the driver's seat, saying, "You do as you damn well please, we're not going anywhere. You can go ahead and shoot me, put the laser right there, put the bullet through the head. O.K., boys?"
Armed, he exited the vehicle and was shot dead.
"I stand by the fact that I believe my husband was trying to protect those three people remaining in the truck," Finicum said. "I still believe he was reaching for a wound, [when he was shot]. I feel that it was cowardice of them to shoot him in the back."
Investigators found that an extra round — not originally reported — was fired by an FBI agent who denied ever discharging his gun,
The Oregonian reported.
Detectives also determined the agent fired again, but didn't hit anything at the scene, according to the newspaper.
Because of the alleged non-disclosure, the U.S. Justice Department's Office of Inspector General is now investigating the FBI. Five agents from the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team were at the scene, and could face prosecution.
Shawna Cox, who was in the truck and filmed her own video of the incident, told Lynch:
"It was terrifying, that's all I can tell you, it's hard to relive. Adrenaline's racing. [It was] the worst. [I was] scared to death."

Cox said she also believes Finicum only wanted to protect her and the two others in the vehicle from authorities.
"He's very protective. He's a very thoughtful kind of man. He's a protective sort of man and he has a big family and that's what he is," she said.
"He is a protector, honorable man. I can't tell you, he's a hero. To me, he's a hero ... It breaks my heart … We lost a righteous, good man for a stupid reason."
