Ronan Farrow's MSNBC Show Goofs Again on Graphic

By    |   Monday, 31 March 2014 06:56 PM EDT

MSNBC's Ronan Farrow had another embarrassing graphics mistake Monday when the wrong photo was shown as Farrow announced the death of Ray Hutchison, husband of former Republican Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

A caption reading "Ray Hutchison 1932-2014" was seen beneath a photo of the former senator with former Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.

Later in the broadcast, Farrow shared the story again with a correct photo and noted that the previous one had been an error.

The mistake seems minor in itself, but, as Mediate noted, it was just last Tuesday when Farrow talked about the base jumpers at the World Trade Center site with a chyron reading, "Do you think the WTC jumpers are heroes or zeroes?"

People responded on Twitter with criticism that the question made many think of those who were forced to jump to their deaths from the WTC on 9/11 to escape the flames.

Graphics mistakes are the least of Farrow's problems. His show is in danger of cancellation over poor ratings after having been on the air for a little more than a month, the New York Daily News reported Monday.
