Social conservative leader John Stemberger, the chairman of the Florida Family Action PAC, has endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott
(pictured). He cited Scott’s commitment to defending the unborn and his standing up for traditional marriage.

“This governor’s election is critical for the direction of life, marriage and family issues in Florida,” Stemberger said.
“We support Rick Scott because he has communicated his personal commitment to pro-life and pro-marriage principles. Alex Sink represents the radical, liberal policies that are out of touch with Florida’s families. We appreciate Rick’s stated positions for the rights of the unborn and for families, and we look forward to working with him when he is governor.”
Stemberger also heads the Florida Family Policy Council, the state's largest pro-family organization. The organization is affiliated with Focus on the Family, the national organization founded by Dr. James Dobson.
