Donald Trump's joint fundraising organization working with the Republican National Committee released a new campaign logo, now that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is on the ticket.
The Trump Make America Great Again Committee, as it's called, revealed the logo in an email with a personal message from Trump, according to
the Washington Examiner.
"I am pleased to announce that I have chosen Governor Mike Pence as my vice presidential running mate," Trump wrote. "Together we will Make America Great Again! Contribute now to be the first to join the Trump-Pence Team."
Politico is reporting an unexpected reaction to the logo on Twitter. The graphic has a blue T for Trump intersecting a blue P for Pence next to red stripes on a white background, making an imitation of an American flag. Some wags see the P as hugging the T, saying it is sexually suggestive,
The Daily Beast reported.
Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton caught flak earlier this year for her campaign logo, which some said looked like a road sign, according to
The Wall Street Journal. Clinton kept the logo despite the criticism.
The Trump campaign hasn’t officially adopted the new logo, however.
