President Donald Trump on Friday nominated 42 people to key positions within his administration.
Here are some of the nominees:
- Richard Grenell, a former United Nations spokesman, ambassador to Germany. Newsmax first reported last month that Grenell, who served in the Bush 43 administration, would be nominated for the post.
- Kenneth Juster, a senior official on the National Economic Council, ambassador to India.
- Oklahoma GOP Rep. James Bridenstine, administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
- Rep. Tom Marino, a Pennsylvania Republican, director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Trump also made nominations for positions in such departments as Justice, Agriculture and Defense, The Hill reports.
Others were in such executive agencies as the Office of Personnel Management and the General Services Administration — as well as ambassadorships to positions in such countries as Angola, Zambia, Croatia, Estonia, Switzerland and Niger.
