A Hillary Clinton retweet has drawn fresh attention to President Donald Trump's golf outings – already the target of scrutiny from The New York Times and The Washington Post as well as fueling late-night comedians' barbs.

Clinton shared on her Twitter feed a Post graphic that suggests her former rival spent 25 hours on the links during his first month in office, including his sixth trip to the links Sunday, when he was joined by Irish pro golfer Rory McIlroy.

According to the Post graph, that compares to Trump dedicating 21 hours to foreign relations, 13 hours to tweeting, and six hours to intelligence briefings in his first weeks on the job.

Trump on the campaign trail was a frequent critic of former President Barack Obama's golf outings.

"Obama plays a lot of golf — a lot," then-candidate Trump told the Golf Channel last July, The Boston Globe reported. "I don't think you should play very much. But if you're going to play, you should use it to your advantage, and the country's advantage."

As president, Trump told the channel, he would play with members of Congress, to push through his legislative agenda, or with foreign leaders, to advance the nation's diplomatic and trade priorities, the Globe reported.
