Four years after he quietly left the governor's mansion in Florida, Jeb Bush is returning to the public eye.
The Miami Herald reports that "as the Republican Party of Florida has grappled with a leadership vacuum, Bush's political profile has grown as fast as the national deficit."
The Herald states that Bush's last four years have been filled with low-wattage duties ranging from joining corporate boards to public speaking to authoring policy essays.
But recently, the Herald reports, Bush has re-entered the political spotlight, helping three different Republicans in their election campaigns and even appearing on NBC's "Today" show.
The Herald asks if this marks "the beginning of a Jeb juggernaut that would culminate in a 2012 presidential bid?"
