President Donald Trump's longtime bodyguard Keith Schiller admitted this week a Russian offered to provide Trump with five women in Moscow four years ago, but the offer was turned down.

Schiller was questioned by the House Intelligence Committee regarding the Russia investigation and was asked about a 2013 trip Trump made to Moscow ahead of the Miss Universe Pageant.

NBC News reported that after a meeting between Trump and pageant officials, one Russian in attendance asked Trump if he wanted to have five women sent to his hotel room.

Schiller said he thought the question was a joke and responded, "We don't do that type of stuff."

NBC cited sources who said Schiller and Trump laughed about the proposition as they walked back to Trump's hotel room that night. Schiller said he stayed outside of Trump's room for a little while before going into his own room for the night.

Schiller was confident nothing happened between Trump and any women that night after he went to sleep. The pair was also aware Moscow hotel rooms are sometimes subjected to video surveillance by Russian intelligence.

The development is significant because a dossier put together by a former member of British intelligence claimed the Russians have compromising material on Trump, including audio and video of interactions with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room.

Trump has denied all of the allegations in the dossier, a document that has come under intense scrutiny as congressional investigators look at whether the FBI used the unverified claims in it as reason to investigate Trump or others close to him.
