Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who has repeatedly emphasized she is not a presidential candidate, sounded a whole lot like one in a speech to the California state Democratic Convention over the weekend, MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell said Monday.
"Sen. Elizabeth Warren got the reception that only presidential candidates get at the California state party convention. And if she was running for president, she wouldn't have had to change a single word of her speech," O'Donnell said on his show
"The Last Word" on Monday.

Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, railed against the Republican presidential field in her speech as the crowd booed GOP candidates and cheered Warren's smackdowns.
"Now we can whine about it. We can whimper about it or we can fight back," Warren concluded. "Me, I'm fighting back. I'm fighting back. Are you ready?"
As the crowed screamed its approval, Warren pumped her fist into the air and exclaimed, "It's not just us. America is ready to fight back!"
O'Donnell asked his panelist if they could image former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton giving that speech complete with the raised fist.
"So what is Elizabeth Warren really up to?" he asked. "Is she really laying the groundwork for a presidential campaign in case … Hillary Clinton stumbles?"
