Senate Republicans have a new draft of a healthcare reform bill they will roll out Thursday, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said.
McConnell also told reporters Tuesday he hoped to get a score on the revised legislation from the Congressional Budget Office early next week, The Hill reported.
"We'll be laying out . . . the text of [the revised bill] on Thursday morning," McConnell said after a meeting with Senate Republicans, The Hill reported.
In the meeting, the conference was updated on changes to the Better Care Reconciliation Act; a "working draft" of the bill was released late last month, but ran into flak from both conservatives and moderates.
