Donald Trump officially accepted the Republican Party's nomination for president Thursday night as Day 4 of the Republican National Convention came to a close in Cleveland.
"America is a nation of believers, dreamers, and strivers that is being led by a group of censors, critics, and cynics," Trump said in his hour-and-15-minute address.
"We cannot afford to be so politically correct anymore. So if you want to hear the corporate spin, the carefully crafted lies, and the media myths, the Democrats are holding their convention next week. Go there.”
Trump's highly anticipated speech put the period on a week full of star-powered appearances led by the billionaire's oldest children — Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany.
