Todd Chrisley's Son Kyle Arrested in Baby Mama's Assault

Todd Chrisley's son Kyle, whose family is featured on the USA Network reality TV show "Chrisley Knows Best," has been arrested on domestic violence and assault charges in South Carolina after he allegedly assaulted the mother of his child and threatened her sister with a knife.

On Thursday just before noon, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of Kyle Chrisley on their Facebook page with the headline: "Need Help to Locate Criminal Domestic Violence Suspect."

Authorities said that the 23-year-old Chrisley "struck his common law spouse, Angela Victoria Johnson, and threatened Johnson’s sister with a knife" after "Johnson confronted Chrisley about his habit of staying out all night and not returning home until late in the morning."

"Chrisley became angry and struck Johnson in the face with an open hand. He then took their child and left the residence," the Anderson County Sheriff Office alleged in its Facebook post. "Minutes later Chrisley returned and kicked-in the front door. When Johnson’s sister confronted Chrisley, he threatened her with a knife."

The alleged incident occurred on February 24, 2013, according to the Daily Mail. The 23-year-old was arrested on Friday morning.




A representative for the USA Network has yet to release a statement on the issue.

"Chrisley Knows Best," which premiered in March, revolves around Todd Chrisley, a self-made Atlanta millionaire entrepreneur, and his wife Julie and their five children.

Last month, Todd Chrisley made headlines for denying rumors that he was gay and would be coming out on the reality TV show.

"There's no coming out," the 45-year-old Chrisley told People magazine. "What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people's opinions of me are just not my business . . . I'm 45. I really don't care what your opinion of me is. The fact that you are thinking about what I'm doing in my bedroom at 45 is exciting to me."
