The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel made the wrong decision to expose whistleblower Michael Lutz, who exposed the political motivation behind an investigation into Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, says investigative journalist Stuart Taylor.
It is one of the most "egregious" cases "of media bias I've ever seen in my life," Taylor told J.D. Hayworth and Morgan Thompson on "America's Forum" on
Newsmax TV Thursday.

"Maybe part of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's motivation in exposing [Lutz] was embarrassment," he explained.
"They had been sitting on this story all this time," he said. "Lutz had said he offered the story or aspects of it to the Journal Sentinel back in 2012 at the height of the recall campaign."
"Whistleblowers, unless there's some reason to think they're lying, and here there's not, are people who should be protected and applauded," he added.
Lutz, who worked as a
prosecutor for District Attorney John Chisholm, had his identity revealed by the Journal Sentinel and says because of it, his career is likely over.
The former prosecutor said he witnessed "hyper-partisan" bias from Chisholm against Walker. According to Lutz, Chisholm's investigation was motivated by his wife, Colleen Chisholm, a top steward in a teacher's union shop, who actively opposed Walker's reforms to the Wisconsin teachers unions.
According to Taylor, "the Journal Sentinel's reaction led by their columnist Dan Bice has been to attack Mike Lutz, to dishonestly smear him, to falsely claim on the strength of Chisholm's lawyers representations that Lutz had threatened Chisholm and his family with death, and in general to smear him."
