RALEIGH, N.C. — While police investigate and searches continue, family members of a North Carolina soldier who disappeared three weeks ago can do little more than wait for news.
Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux went to a bar in Fayetteville on April 13. She hasn't been seen or heard from since the early morning hours of the next day.
Police say a man who met her the week before says he took her home, dropping her off at the entrance to the apartment complex where she lived with her husband.

That man is a registered sex offender who's now in jail for not living at the address that he gave authorities.
Bordeaux's brother, Matt Henson, says he's optimistic that Bordeaux will come home. But he says the past three weeks already seem like an eternity.
