A White House video shows gaffe-prone Vice President Joe Biden laughing off a New Jersey man’s description of "Giants' Stadium" as host of this year's Super Bowl, ribbing him: "Maybe not this year."
The vice president and Cecilia Munoz, the president’s domestic policy advisor, were taking questions about immigration reform in
a live conversation hosted by Bing and Skype.
When one guest said he lived next to the stadium in East Rutherford, host of Super Bowl XLVIII, Biden laughed, responding, "Home of the Super Bowl? Maybe not this year. We’ll have to talk about that."
Biden seemed not to understand that despite the Giants' record this year, their home stadium will still host the game. The Jets also play their home games at the stadium.
The Super Bowl will be played February 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium.
Biden has messed up football history before, including an October 2012 claim of playing football for the University of Delaware during his time there.
The Daily Caller reported Biden never played for the Blue Hens’ football program.
