Burns, a documentarian, came up with the idea while working on his latest history project, marking the 150th anniversary of one of the greatest speeches in American history,
the Daily Dot reported Wednesday.
The
10-sentence speech was
delivered by Lincoln on Nov. 19, 1863, 4½ months after Union troops defeated Confederate forces in the Battle of Gettysburg, Pa., which is often described as the turning point of the Civil War.
