A pro-life group’s new undercover video shows a Planned Parenthood employee telling a professed sex trafficker how to get medical care for adolescent prostitutes,
The New York Times reports. Live Action, a self-described “new media movement for life,” posted the clip on its website on Tuesday under the headline, “Planned Parenthood Aids Pimp’s Underage Sex Ring — Full Footage Released.”
Story continues below video.
In the video, a couple posing as a pimp and his prostitute appear to receive counseling on reproductive health from a Planned Parenthood clinic manager in Perth Amboy, N.J. The scenario recalls a 2009 video sting by two conservative activists who played the same roles and filmed themselves getting tips on tax evasion from employees of the community group Acorn.
“This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Planned Parenthood intentionally breaks state and federal laws and covers up the abuse of the young girls it aims to service,” Live Action President Lila Rose said.
Planned Parenthood officials said legal authorities were alerted to the visit afterward, but added, “What appears on edited tapes made public today is not consistent with Planned Parenthood’s practices, and is under review."
