In my autobiography, “Why and How I Came to Fight the Establishment,” I chronicle my life’s story and rise to becoming the founder of both Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch. And, while I am presently the chairman and general counsel of Freedom Watch, my history in the legal profession — fighting in the trenches against the intellectual and actual establishment corruption among judges, lawyers, government personnel, and media — is what caused me to conceive of and start my former organization on July 29, 1994.
Freedom Watch, in my opinion, now does what I conceived of Judicial Watch to do. Rather than mostly just obtaining documents under the Freedom of Information Act, we are the leader in taking on hard complex cases against all odds. In many ways, we are the group that persons turn to when no one else has the guts and perseverance to stick his or her neck out, and risk all, in fighting establishment tyranny. (See freedomwatchusa.org.)
In so doing I have scored many victories over the years, and also lost many cases mostly thanks to biased leftist and intellectually dishonest judges. And, while I am the only lawyer to ever have a court of law find that a president of the United States committed a crime — of course that was Bill Clinton — and also succeeded in later years with my client Sheriff Joe Arpaio in helping to kill President Obama’s executive order granting amnesty to over 5 million illegal aliens, not to mention also enjoining Obama and his minions at the intelligence agencies from conducting unconstitutional mass surveillance without probable cause on hundreds of millions of Americans, I have to also take my hat off to another lawyer, Alabama judge and later state Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore, who too has a penchant for sticking his neck out and risking all for the good of We the People.
Roy Moore, as you may know, is the judge who was impeached for standing on Judeo-Christian principle by refusing to remove a statue of the Ten Commandments, the bedrock of our legal system, in his courthouse. He was also later the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court who ordered that his courts and their clerks not enforce the U.S. Supreme Court’s illegal ruling allowing validating gay marriage. Like it or not, the Constitution does not protect one’s sexual persuasion, however we may sympathize with our homosexual friends. By doing this, Moore also lost his mantle as the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court.
The former Chief Justice, while he was on the state’s high court, also wrote a strong and courageous dissenting opinion finding that President Obama and other future presidential wannabes should be required to submit a genuine birth certificate to Alabama election authorities if they wished to qualify and be certified to be eligible to run for the highest office in the land. This too was against the establishment legal stream, as anyone who has ever questioned the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate was vilified as being racist. Roy Moore is no racist, and nor am I for having brought this case. The purpose of requiring proof of natural born citizenship, as required in our Constitution to be eligible to be president or vice president, is logical, even if not popular among the political establishment.
Like myself, Roy Moore has a long history of doing what he, in his mind and heart, feels is not just right, but the will of our Lord and Savior. And, like me Roy had never worried about winning or losing for a just cause.
And, that is why Moore connected with the people of Alabama yesterday. Despite the endorsement of the president and vice president for his opponent in the U.S. Senate run-off and, against most “fake news punditry” after Trump and Pence visited the state to push establishment Luther Strange on the citizenry, former chief justice still won handily.
Ironically, Roy Moore won for the same reasons that President Donald J. Trump won the White House. The rock solid base of conservatism simply can no longer tolerate establishment largesse, back slapping, if not sleaze, and in the words of Patrick Buchanan decades ago, the “Pitchfork Rebellion” continues to march on to reclaim our land and our republic.
So I want to congratulate Roy for his great victory, and wish him well in the general election against his Democrat opponent. We the People need “Moore Roy Moores,” and let us pray that he will continue to have the strength and wisdom to truly represent all of us when he takes his seat in the well of the U.S. Senate next to the likes of two-faced, hostile and dangerous swamp creatures named “Republican Mitch” and “Democrat Chuck.”
I for one will personally do all in my power to help him succeed!
