President Donald Trump on Thursday dedicated three tweets to the crisis in Puerto Rico, saying "we cannot keep FEMA, the military" et al "in Puerto Rico forever."

Regarding Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello, Trump was referring to the investigation he's opening up into water distribution in the storm-ravaged island; parts of the island are still not receiving anywhere close to the amount of drinking water it needs.

Trump's tweets also come the day before House Speaker Paul Ryan and a bipartisan delegation of lawmakers travel to Puerto Rico to survey the damage and recovery efforts.

So far, electricity has only been restored to 15 percent of the island.
