GOP lawmakers say bitter disputes between President Donald Trump and key Republican senators are endangering tax reform efforts, according to The Hill.
Trump has been engaged in a war of words with retiring Sens. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., and Jeff Flake, R-Ariz. Now many lawmakers say it is time to move on, the website reports.
"I think most people are tired of the back-and-forth," said Sen. Lindsey Graham R-S.C.
Noting he liked Flake, Graham added: "(But) I told the president, you kick every barking dog in Washington and you'll wind up spending all your time [on] barking dogs."
And Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas told radio host Mark Davis: "We need to focus on passing major tax cuts, repealing Obamacare, bringing back jobs, delivering on our promises . . . I think everyone should stop bickering and engaging in personal attacks. I think we should focus on doing our job."

Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C was asked if the squabbling was a distraction for lawmakers, The Hill noted.
"Any time that I'm talking to you about anything other than tax reform now is not a good thing," he said.
Meanwhile Corker seemed to play down the chances his dispute with Trump would adversely impact tax reform, The Hill reported.
"What I hope is going to happen is the president will leave this effort, if you will, to the tax-writing committees, let them do their work and not begin taking things off the table that ought to be debated in these committees," Corker told ABC's "Good Morning America."
Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla. didn't believe the infighting would impact the larger GOP agenda, the Hill said. And he noted that during the lunch with Trump, "I've never seen the unanimity like it was, the applause, the reception."
