Political commentator Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV on Thursday that Donald Trump is running his presidency "kind of like a dictatorship" and he is alienating the Republican leadership crucial to getting his agenda passed in Congress.
"It's about Donald Trump," the eldest son of former President Ronald Reagan told Bill Tucker on "Newsmax Now." "You're seeing the way he runs his business, kind of like a dictatorship.
"It's about him all the time."

Trump has repeatedly slammed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Twitter over the chamber's failure to repeal and replace Obamacare last month — and he included House Speaker Paul Ryan in his attack on the leaders as he ripped the national debt as a "mess."
"He attacks the very people he's going to need to really get some things passed in Washington — McConnell, Ryan, the rest of them," Reagan told Tucker.
"And, so, the Republicans will always have trouble trying to tell you the good things that they've been able to do — the bills they've been able to pass — because they're being drowned out by Trump each and every day.
"The president is finding out that running a business and getting things done from the dictatorial position as the president of your own organization is a lot different than Washington," he added.
"That's a different art of the deal than running a business — and he hasn't yet found that out.
"He has to find out how to work the edges to get things ultimately done," Reagan said. "He doesn't need to go to war with his own party."
