CNN Poll: Trump More Popular Than Congress

A new CNN poll reveals President Donald Trump is more popular than Congress.

Here are the highlights from the survey:

• Sixty-eight percent of Americans say the Republican Congress is a failure so far.
• Twenty-four percent of those polled approve of the current Republican leaders in Congress, while 34 percent say they approve of congressional Democratic leaders in Congress.
• Thirty-eight percent approve of Trump's performance in office.
• Thirty-eight percent say disagreement among Republican lawmakers is the main reason for a lack of legislation, 26 percent blame a lack of leadership from Trump and 25 percent point to Democratic opposition.
• Thirty-three percent say Obamacare should be repealed completely.

The poll, conducted Aug. 3-6, surveyed 1,018 adults. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.6 percentage points.
