Trump Signs Order to Cut Funding to NPR, PBS; Media Objects

Notoriously left-leaning, government-funded outlets operating under the guise of "independence," NPR and PBS are getting defunded by President Donald Trump's latest executive order, which is going to face opposition from those who will be getting their taxpayer spigot cut off, including Corporation for Public Broadcasting CEO Patricia Harrison, who makes nearly as much the U.S. president does annually: "CPB is not a federal executive agency subject to the president's authority."
