While many question his claim, Rick Dyer still managed to draw more than 800 people to northwest Harris County, Texas, near Houston Sunday to prove that he killed the mythical creature Bigfoot.
Dyer, who calls himself a "master tracker," displayed a nine-foot case that he claims holds the dead body of the Bigfoot creature he killed back in 2012,
according to the Houston Chronicle. He made an appearance at Trader's Village in Harris County.

"I'm not convinced," Mario Lopez said after viewing the exhibit with wife Julia and three children. "I believe the Roger Patterson footage is authentic because you can see the muscles and everything on there, but this one was kind of different. But he did mention that after the autopsy the body kind of changes."
Others, like Wendy Hernandez, told the Houston Chronicle she was sold and had Dyer sign his autograph on a shirt she purchased.
"It's amazing when you go inside, you feel different," Hernandez said. "I had never seen anything like this before, only on the Discovery Channel."
Dyer has sold out two other Bigfoot showings in the Houston area Monday and Tuesday.
Dyer told the San Antonio Express-News last month that he killed Bigfoot with a rifle in San Antonio, luring the creature to his tent with Wal-Mart-bought ribs.
"I know it sounds crazy, but it's true," Dyer said. "A lot of times they don't believe it. You can show someone something that is real, but they won't, or can't, believe it because they think it doesn't exist."
There are some reasons to be skeptical.
According to Snopes.com, Dyer made the same claim back in 2008, saying that he found Bigfoot's body near a Georgia stream while he was hiking. Dyer provided photographs and DNA evidence, but when the body was revealed, it was nothing more than a rubber ape costume.
"I have a lot of haters, but they can all kiss my (expletive) because I have more proof than there's ever been," Dyer told the Express News.
