Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle's engagement could be announced soon, according to an obviously close friend of the prince, and the "leak" has credibility because so far the royal romance has been flawlessly pursued by everyone involved.
And, they already have a thumbs up from the royal family, it seems.
The suggestion that the mega-watt celebrity couple, who began dating last summer, might be on the verge of an engagement was relayed by Wonderwall.
“They will be engaged by the end of summer,” Prince Harry’s pal said, per Wonderwall.
The friend also said the couple has “spoken candidly about their future. They see a life together.”
Add to that, a friend of Markle says she is very in love with Harry.
“I honestly can’t stress how happy she is. Out of 10, I’d say 150,” Markle’s friend said, according to Wonderwall.
Another source said, though, before an engagement is official Markle will finish her last season with “Suits,” noted US magazine.
The couple has been open about their love for charity – something they plan to collaborate on as their relationship continues and once Markle is off the big screen.
Harry’s mom, the late Princess Diana, founded the Sentebale charity to help children who suffer from AIDS. Harry’s the co-founder of that charity.
Princess Diana also launched the Invictus Games for wounded veterans.
Markle is a global ambassador for World Vision, and she’s also an open supporter for women in the U.N.
“This type of work is what feeds my soul, and fuels my purpose,” Markle said on her lifestyle blog, The Tig.
“They speak about maybe working together on a project,” a source close to the couple said, said US magazine.
Harry and Markle have already officially announced their relationship back in November, and have been seen in public together in their hometowns of London and Toronto since then, according to Harper’s BAZAAR magazine.
Markle has appeared to have the approval of the royal family, having met Prince Charles, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton among others.
