While Christians continue to debate whether or not tattoos can be a legitimate part of the faith experience, there are a growing number of celebrities with symbols of Christianity permanently inked in their skin.

Here are six famous Christians with tattoos:

1. Justin Beiber: According to The Christian Post, the heartthrob singer with a dubious past got matching Jesus tattoos with his dad.

2. Tim McGraw: The country music singer has a tattoo of an ichthys, popularly known as a "Jesus Fish," on the inside of his right upper arm. According to Taste of County, the artist also has the word "faith" tattooed inside his ankle.

3. NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick: Known as a Christian role model of Super Bowl XXXV MVP, this heavily tattooed quarterback for the 49ers is also open about his Christian faith. He has Bible verses tattooed on his body.

4. Hipster Pastor Carl Lentz: Famous for his friendship to Justin Bieber, this pastor has a following of millennials and is reported by the New York Post as having at least 10 tattoos.

5. & 6. Victoria and David Beckham: According to the Christian Science Monitor, the superstar power couple both have a Hebrew tattoo with words from the Song of Solomon.
