Both Franklin Graham and Anne Graham Lotz agree with their father Billy Graham's message on the end times. According to them, signs point toward Jesus Christ returning soon, and that it is a time for people to come closer to their Christian beliefs with prayer and spiritual awakening.

Franklin, who has picked up the sacred word for his father as president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, declared, “I believe all the prophecies that have to take place for Jesus to return have been fulfilled.”

Warning signs are indicated in the Bible and date back to 1948 with the re-establishment of the nation of Israel. Worldwide turmoil has escalated in recent years, suggesting that the end could be sometime soon, “the next 10, 20 years — I don’t know,” the younger Graham revealed. In any case, he believes “we’re coming down to the midnight hour on God’s clock.” As with the warnings of the end times, he points to Matthew 24 that warn about “wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, and pestilence.”

Despite the gloomy outlook, he stressed that these difficult times include hope. In a message to believers from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, he explained that during the frightening pestilence of Ebola, people have miraculously recovered from the virus through prayer as well as through medical work. The work of spreading God’s word has blessings in the day before the night when Christ returns, he said.

VOTE NOW: Is Christ Returning?

Anne Graham Lotz warned that we are approaching the end of human history and called on the nation to pray after receiving a spiritual message. She described her wishes in a letter to Pat Robertson, chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network. “I am blowing the trumpet,” she wrote in a warning similar to Billy Graham's message of the end times.

She prepared an initiative, “777: An Urgent Call to Prayer,” in which she called on believers to pray each day during the first seven days in July before it’s too late, according to the Gospel Herald Ministries. The prayers included asking for God to forgive his people and for Christ to be glorified in churches, the country, and individual lives.
