The Girl Scouts are one of the biggest youth organizations for girls and young women in the nation. According to the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, there are 2 million members and 800,000 volunteers today.

Although the Girl Scouts is extremely popular, there has recently been some turmoil surrounding policy changes the organization has made to allow transgender youth to become Girl Scouts.
