Joe Bastardi's in-depth understanding of climate change and the science of weather prediction and unvarnished communication style have garnered him multiple guest appearances on major television programs including "ABC World News" and "Fox News Live." In addition, he is a prolific blogger and columnist and is often interviewed by digital and print media outlets.

ALERT: Is Global Warming a Hoax? Vote Now

Here are five recent quotes by Joe Bastardi on global warming:

November 2014: In an opinion piece for The Patriot Post titled "Fossil-Fueled Fiction," Bastardi wrote, "It’s been a heck of a week for hysteria in the so-called Climate War. Apparently, with all the other things going on in the world, the hysteria has to be whipped up so people actually pay attention to this trumped-up agenda."

July 2014: In another op-ed for The Patriot Post, Bastardi wrote, "So just what is the perfect level of CO2, and who among men thinks they are fit to decide that, given the overwhelming evidence that nature is in control?

May 2014: According to DeSmogBlog, which considers itself the "world's No. 1  source for accurate, fact-based information regarding global warming misinformation campaigns" Bastardi made the following statement on "The Tom Sullivan Show" on Fox News Radio. "CO2 cannot cause global warming. I'll tell you why. It doesn't mix well with the atmosphere, for one. For two, its specific gravity is 1 1/2 times that of the rest of the atmosphere. It heats and cools much quicker. Its radiative processes are much different. So it cannot — it literally cannot cause global warming."

VOTE NOW: Are You Concerned About Global Warming?

March 2014:
In an piece for The Patriot Post titled, "Skepticism on Skeptics" Bastardi wrote, "I am just as skeptical about some mythical idea that we are winning the global warming debate as global warming itself. Why? Because the side that we are “debating” could care less about what the climate is actually doing. That is not their goal, and the so-called scientific debate is merely a useful side issue to them."

May 2013: In a Forbes Q&A, Bastardi responded to a statement about global warming media coverage of disasters and the "relentless guilt-mongering about how we are causing everything bad that happens." According to Bastardi, "Many people are vulnerable to this propaganda because guilt is a powerful influence that some opportunists are all too willing to exploit for numerous reasons that you and I are painfully aware of. Americans, like other people around the world, typically don’t have the information or take the time to put today into perspective with yesterday or last year, much less decades past."
