Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates reportedly is going to buy an entire street for his winter home in Wellington, Fla.

Two real estate sources told Jose Lambiet's Gossip Extra that the world's richest man is in the process of buying his entire street after spending the last three winters at his ranch at 3155 Mallet Hill Court.

Gates has contracts on two of his neighbors’ properties that close by the end of the month and is negotiating for three vacant lots, the report said. The shopping spree could cost Gates about $30 million.

With $75 billion, Gates recently topped Forbes' list of billionaires for the third year in a row.

His net worth is down from $79.2 billion, but still at the peak of the magazine's 30th annual ranking. Gates has made the list for 17 of the last 22 years.
