Report: Hillary Used More Than One Email Address While at State Dept.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails that were recently released by The New York Times show that Clinton did use more than one email address while she served as the nation's top diplomat.

This contradicts the claim by the Democratic candidate for president that she only had one email address that she used for both personal and state business, The Blaze is reporting.

The email account hrod17@clintonemail.com was used several times during her tenure at the State Department where she served from January 2009 until February 2013. The emails sent on hrod17@clintonemail.com were sent between 2011 and 2012.

David Kendall, Clinton's attorney, had told Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, who is heads the House Committee on Benghazi, that that email address did not exist "during Secretary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State."

This also contradicts the claim by Clinton that she only used one email address while she was at the State Department.

"Secretary Clinton used one email account during her tenure at State (with the exception of her first weeks in office while transitioning from an email account she had previously used)," Clinton's office said in a statement.

"In March 2013, Gawker published the email address she used while Secretary, and so she had to change the address on her account."

Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, said in a Tweet that Clinton has "misled the public about the use of only one secret email address."
